Not getting AC3 file from VOB files.

I have extracted DVD with DVD Dycrepter. Now I am using DVD2AVI to get .d2v and AC3 file. But it created d2v file but not AC3 file?. Have any idea why it is doing like this for this particular movie?.

VTS_03-StramInformation file has this information.

0xA0 - Audio - LPCM / 2ch / 48kHz / 16bit / LBA: 31 / PTS: 00:00:00.223 / Delay: -66ms
0xE0 - Video - MPEG-2 / 720x480 (NTSC) / 4:3 / LBA: 1 / PTS: 00:00:00.290 / Delay: 0ms

Hmmm...Looking at the stream info you gave us, the dvd has an LPCM audio, doesnt say anything about AC3 audio. I think the dvd was compressed with LPCM and not AC3 so i dont think youll be able to get it. I may be wrong though...

No, i think Powerdup is spot on there. There is no AC3 file available from the stream you have given us.

Then how can I get audio from those VOB files?

Try running the output through TMPGEnc DVD Author. Have you tried burning it and playing on a standalone?

Load the VOB files into DVD2AVI and go into audio menu and in output method choose:

Decode to Wav(AC3, LPCM)

Thanks it works. But one more problem. I am trying to rip another DVD and got MPA media file and dv2 file after using DVD2AVI. Now how can I conver into WAV?

Ok get back into the Audio menu and under Output Method select:

Demux(AC3,MPA,DTS)

I dont think the resulting file will be a Wav file though.
