Ok I'm pretty much set to take off on this flashing thing. Last few details I wanna confirm.

1. How do I tell what type of Onboard SATA chipset am I using? I can't see anything in side my comp as all this junks in the way all I see is the sata wire from the mothorbaord to the Harddrive. I'm using Intel so yeah... any clues as how to find it from the comp?

2. Also when flashing the drive if I unhook my harddrive would the computer experience errors when I turn it on or does it auto boot msdos from the motherboard?

3. I need the mtkflash program. I hav a hexed version for when I thought I was gonna buy a pci card but I think I'm good without it. So if its not illegal to ask can I get a Link if it is please I'm extremely sorry and wont ask agian.
