which programme do you reccomend to take out adverts from a dvd film ,i recordedfrom the tv.

I use Voblanker, too. but I also use DVDRemake Pro... just another program ..... very indepth on DVD structure.... Voblannker is easier.... but once you get the hang of DVD structure I like DVDRemake Pro.
