I love my ps3 but i am sick of all of this shit about never using it full potential. I like it just as much as my wii and 360 but i am not buying this crap about it being a super computer. When they say that i will never use its full potential it says to me that i have paid for somthing that i can never use and thus it is a waste of money. In that case the 360 did the right job by giving me the choice instead of forcing me to pay for somthing that i cannot use. All this crap about bluray as well, i am going HD DVD so is the majority of the movie biz. As i said i have all the consoles and i find them all fantastic in their own ways. That being said i love what the wii has done, they have focused on gaming and thats it. When it comes down to it i dont care if it can multitask and act as an entertainment centre, all i want is a gaming console with quality games and because of that at the moment my favourite console is my wii.

ahh i see now, that does make a little bit more sense but still i wonder if people actually understand the news articles or are they just "read" them. the statments made never said anything about consumers not using the ps3 to its full potential, but rather the developers.
the statement is really two fold in itself, as it would seem reassuring that what we've seen on the ps3 so far is not even a full glimpse of what this system is capable of and surely things will evolve over time. on the otherhand it does seem a bit odd that they have a product with so much potential and capabilities, yet he feels that nobody will ever exploit all that it offers which is disappointing.

dont see how you can call me a nintendo fanboy when i own all 3 consoles. Im just saying at the moment i prefer my wii, when mgs4 comes out the ps3 will prob be my favourite
seems to me that anytime somebody finds a problem with the amazing perfect ps3 sony fanboys accuse other ppl of being nintendo fanboys. You cannot accept that a sony fan can realise a few mistakes in the system and in what the sony president said. Seriously grow up

Look if you upset over what Sony said then you really need help.Its called marketing talk everone does it Nintendo,MS,& Sony.I careless what they say and more of what the system do and this is how is should be.

This is so true, I agree that what the Sony Prez said is pretty stupid on many levels, but it doesn't make the PS3 any worse of a console. I remember Bill Gates promising that Halo3 would launch the same date as the PS3, and that was obviously a load of crap, but I still like my 360 and will still get Halo3 when it finally comes out. It's best not to let this crap get to you, b/c there's always going to be Execs hyping their own systems and people talking crap about consoles they don't like, but in the end, what's important is that there are 3 great consoles on the market now that are just taking off, and as long as people don't buy into the hype they shouldn't be disapointed with any of them.

The more these system battle it out the better it is for the gamer.Because these Company are being pushed so they cant really bully us because they know we can chose.
