Hi guys!

I've been "googling" for a long time before I could find a site like this... I hope you can help me with this.

I bought a Network Adapter and a 80gb Seagate hardrive for playing backups. The first day everything worked fine, I could play with out any problem. But the next day, my ol friend, (Ps2, v7 (scph-39001) modded) dind't recognized the hard drive. I thought that maybe the hard drive or the Network Adapter could be damaged, but I tested them on my friend's Ps2 (same model btw), and they worked. So, my Ps2 has the problem. One guy in a certeain forum had the same problem, and some other guy answered that some fuse near the "dev9" must be blown, and that fuse allows the conection between the Ps2 and the adapter.

So, I wonder, wich is the fuse that make the network adapter work? Is it an special kind of fuse? Can it be replaced by an ordinary fuse? Is it expensive? Can someone show where it's located on the Ps2 mobo? Sorry about all this questions, but Electronics and I won't get along...

OK, maybe I tried too hard to explain... Can anyone help me? Why my Ps2 won't recognize my HD? It's not the HD, and it's not the Network Adapter neither. Both work fine on others' people PS2. So, any ideas of what's wrong with my console? I'r really appreciate your help. Thanks!
