First post and really new to the whole process. I am trying to rip Talladegah Nights and convert to PSP format (MPEG4). I use Ripit4me, DVD Decrypter, FixVTS, DVD Shrink, and PSP video 9 for the final conversion.

I am able to successfully get through the entire process but what I end up with is a Video that looks great but the audio is in French. I am using re author mode in DVD Shrink to select only the main movie. I right click and make sure the audio is set to English and when I watch it in the preview pain it plays fine with English Audio. After its done I run it through PSP Video 9 and I end up with the French audio. I don't think this is anything being done by PSP Video program. Am I not selecting the Audio Properly? This is my first time using. DVD Shrink.

Jeez, that's a complicated process. Just imTOO dvd to psp ripper. it rips it straight from dvd to the psp!

Try a differnet movie and see if it does that same thing. I have had no problems with that process.

That particular movie has a lot of junk on it that you do not need. I would not re-author it in DVD Shrink, but instead use VobBlanker to get rid of a lot of that unwanted material.

My buddy alkohol wrote a great guide for beginners using the software. You can read it by Clicking Here!

After you use VobBlanker you may not need to use re-author in Shrink. Give that a try and let us know how it turns out.
