TVGOS with TWC in NYC just started working - almost 2 YEARS after buying unit

Hey you guys - I long ago gave up on my TVGOS with my Panasonic unit -DMR-EH50. It would cycle through channels continuously, never finding the TV Guide. Suddenly, about a month ago, I noticed that everytime I turned it on, it was on the TV Guide channel and not on some random channel. Lo and behold, there were the listings, finally. Not that they are very good - moving through them is really slow and the channels are all listed in some weird random order. I can only see an hour's worth of the grid at any one time. But using the programming seems to be working.

Has Time Warner Cable suddenly decided to start supporting the system? I am in Staten Island by the way.
