HI. Thanks to dvd-and-media for suppling these samples to me. Here are my results:

Princo 4x: Verdict - This disc joins the ever expanding catergorie of 'Excellent DVD-r media for backing up Data'. As good as this may sound, unfortunately, data is the only thing these discs should be used for. I backed up an image of my HDD with this and restored it with sucess. I decided against backing up a movie or PS2 game with this disc as I have already heard of very negative results. The disc was burned at its maxium speed (4x). I don't recommend these discs as there are cheaper ones on the market for data storage at a much lower price.

Clonedisc 4x - Verdict- Without a doubt a disc that matches the quality of the traxdata dvd-r. It doesn't however, in my opinion, equal the quality of the Pioneer or verbatim 4x disc. (But this is understandable due to their high prices)Tested with dvd speed, this disc evidently had to re-read a small amount of data on 2 occasions. This, however, didn't even result in a pause during playback (I backed up a 4.36gb movie). The disc was written at 4x speed. About a 10milisecond period of pixellation occured 2hrs 10mins into playback.

Any more questions reguarding these discs would be gladly answered.
