Ok i have a evolution x xbox it is only programed with the dashboard and the abilty to play games that are burned on to dvd-rs the mod also can be turn off and be played as a normal xbox that only plays regular games so what i am wondering is if i can play on xbox live without the mod being active

I am just going to assume you are softmodding, with hardmodding there is a button to enable/disable the mods.

I don't know if this may work for other games, but with Halo 2, you have to turn your xbox off with the game disc inside the drive. Then power it back on without having it go to the EvoX dashboard. That is how you get on Xbox Live.

To disable the mods, (idk what game)you have to backup the maps that are clean (no mods on them) and FTP them back onto your xbox. What I mean by that is you have to overwrite the modded maps with the clean maps.

I am sorry if this did not help, but you have to be a little more specific such as what mods do you want to turn off for which game?

Ok another thing is i havent tamperd with any of the games i have on my xbox i just i have that weird mod

nope you have to cold boot your xbox (put game in turn xbox off, then turn it on via the POWER button only) to play on xbox live safely, you can play with your mods but you will get banned
