How hard would it be to write the software to make a xbox 360 emulator? I know there are one's for gameboy ect. but is there one that works with either the 360 or the origional xbox?(please leave links).

How could you make one of those programs?

Actually, there was a team of people that tried to make an xbox emulator on the pc. It eventually turned out as a failure, as Turok was the only game playable and had major performance issues. The thought of creating a 360 emulator on the computer is probably nearly impossible.

The problem with emulating a game system is that your processor ends up doing all the work that the hardware of the system would normally do, and since the hardware can do it muuucch faster, you need a much much more powerful system than the one you're emulating. So even if you were able to write one, you wouldn't be able to realistically run it on a normal computer for like 20 years.
