first - thanks for the forum. i have these files that look like this:


lots of files - no ISO file to unzip or burn.

can someone please advise me on how to build this. i am a mac person, but do run virtual pc. so windows software is ok. remember, there is no ISO and only these files except for 1 file with a .sfv indentifier. thanks in advance! just want to build an ISO that i can use with swapmagic on ps2

IF you'd of bothered to have read the stickies at the top of the forums or the other countless postings about RAR files you'd of found out on your own that you need to extract the ISO from the .rar files. get WinRAR if you don't have it already and use it to open and extract the first .rar/.r00 file and you'll have an ISO/IMG to then burn.

you must be one of the other `15 year old senior members that is lacking tactical communication skills. i asked the question in a humble and "i am stupid manner" - in hopes of getting a humble "hey let me help you" response.

so now i have to be a schmuck with you edited by ddp. if you had bothered to look at my files - you would see they are not .rar or something wonderfully zipped up with the ISO hiding. look at file 1 edited by ddp. hell - look at all the files edited by ddp. none of them are zipped or .rar files. therefore, my zip software does not recognize and cannot do anything for these files -

THIS IS WHY I PASTED THEM TO MY MESSAGE - SO A GENIOUS LIKE YOU COULD SEE THAT -
yes - generally speaking - YOU ARE RIGHT. i should be able to unzip the number 1 file (or any file for the matter) and the ISO builds itself and i burn just the ISO image. this is exactly why i wrote this question - there are no .rar files - point finished and made. i have 2 games that are in this format.

i have tried toasting in iso 9660 - DVD Decrypter (only seems to want to deal with files that are on cd and not HD -> cd) - Nero (built the image, burned the image with toast - no dice)

so since you are the "OMG this is so simple" guy - tell me if there are routes i have overlooked.

and yes i am a genious - just not at this (humble)

unfortunately no I'm not a child, oh how i wish i had those days back........i could use the childish uneducated wordage and name calling that you did but why bother? being as ignorant as you are i expect no less from you. .001 amazingly as it is, is a .rar file please try to be at least somewhat of a help to yourself and stay in school, it's your only hope. the original post i made takes you step by step through how to extract them but you being so ignorant, you can't read and comprehend that.
