I just bought Swap Magic 3.6 and magic switch set for Model- SCPH-75001 and well the magic switch set didnt fit where it was suppose too and broke my ps2 and im reading that the swap magic 3.6 version isnt for the model i have?... If this is true i just wasted 30 bucks.. well 160 bucks ( my ps2 and the set) for nothing.. can someone pleae help me

Swap Magic 3.6 works on any current ps2 model. So that's not the issue.

"Magic Switches" were a bad choice to buy; they're the cheap plastic rehash versions of the "magic keys" which are much better (and made of steel, not plastic). I'm not surprised that they didn't work, really. But the magic keys instead, as mentioned they're made of metal and won't break unless you want them to.

A lot of people have trouble installing the top-right tool (tool E or 3) because newer ps2s have a metal block that makes it hard to fit the tool into the little hole. It is possible, however, on any model; it may be difficult, but it will work.

If you're tired of trying to fit the tool into the tiny hole, you can always just tape over the switch, there are many guides for this and it's basically foolproof.

What did u break on your ps2? Is it not booting up anymore?
Also since you already got Swap magic. Why dont you put the disc in and see if it works on your console. If it loads to the menu, then it works.
