Ruined my mates Xbox 360 Samsung Drive while flashing plz help asap!!!

i was updating the firmware on my samsung 360 drive and floppy disk failed.
i had to abort it, and now my drive does not open and it doesn't get detected in my xbox 360.
it already had xtreme 2.0 on it, it upgraded half way through 4.2.
i ruined it before by using mtkflash and forcing it to write to
/sata
but i forgot how.
can someone tell me how to fix it, im on holiday in 2 days and its my mates xbox!! need to fix it quick, so plz help!!! thanks alot

Do you still have the original firware? You should be able to just restore it to original state and then re-flash.

there is a vid on you tube about this.get yourself a flashable usb instead of using floppys as they are shite!

I use floppies, because I had problems trying to use USB. Maybe things are better now for USB. With floppies make sure you use a brand new one from the box. They can go bad in just a matter of months. I messed up a Samsung myself due to using a bad floppy.

yeah as long as u use new floppy's, u shouldn't have any problems, but anyway if u have the orig fw then u can just use that to refalsh id rec. using xtreme bootmaker and let it make a bootable floppy flash the old fw back onto it then reflash it with 4.2.

u guyz jus dnt get it do u. the samsung 360 drive will NOT be detected whilst flashing. because it has the old xtreme firmware on it, it needs the activation disk to change it to 0800 mode and than it will be recognizable by the computer.
how do i do this when the drive does not spin? whats the 2 wire trick all about any guides? thanks for the help so far!!!!

i've searched it all but nobody seems to have the same problem. if u know a link plz give it to me, i literally have no other way of fixing it, so here i am just hoping someone tells me how to fix it. its been 2 months now!

lol you posted like 3 weeks ago, but idk about that two wire trick, but you can try, dont know as i have never ruined my 500 dollar machine

Get yourself a VIA 6241 PCI SATA card.
Then you can do the 10-second trick and forget about the enable0800 disc.
If you NEED someone to fix it, you can ship it to me with the original.bin file and I'll do it. But once you get a VIA PCI card, I can walk you through it. Choice is yours.

no the forum rules state to search before asking, this same thing has been asked over and over, so therefore im just going with the forum rules, and if the drive wont power on and spin you cant reflash it because mtkflash wont detect it
