Simple Xvid to DVD question

Hi,

Sorry, i did try a search but i this computer is having probelems displaying the pages.

So,

Basicly i wanna know how can i make Divx & Xvid movie files into a DVD? so i can play them back on any normal DVD player?

Also, what program would i use to go about making a menu's for my DVD's???

Head over to the Guides section of either http://www.dvdrhelp.com or http://www.doom9.org and check out the format coversion section. Lots of guides based on the two basic tools you require: TMPGEnc Pro and TMPGEnc DVD Author.
Conversion can take 6~8 hours dependign on the source and the quality selection chosen. Authoring, on the other hand (adding menues and creating the DVD file structure) takes about an hour.

Dont worry if it takes 10 hours or so to do TMPGEnc as this is quite normal depending on your system resources
