Newer 360 Harder To Open?!?!

Ok, I have a pretty new 360. I decided to do the firmware flash, but first open it and see all that shit. I have realized that they actually made it harder to open. I tried using the tuts on YouTube but it didn't work, what MS did is they added extra little clips on the top and bottom and now once you let go of the clip it doesn't stay unclipped, it reclips.

If you look where the HD is, on the black thing if you look from the back, there are 2 biggish wholes and you can see the 2 clips that are impossible to get to from the left and right side like you see in videos. You have to actually go from the back and unclip them and then put something in place so it doesn't go back down and reclip.

I couldn't get my 360 open from the back either, I put it back together and will maybe try later but I am very disappointed about this. :(

I just bought a new 360 with a manufactor date of 10-17-06. I had no problems opening it. Can you take a picture so we can see what you are talking about?

My mate bought a new 360 not long ago and his was a piece of cake to open. My older 360 on the other hand was a real ball ache to open

i had a lil trouble opening mine i went by the guide but found the grey things on the side was in slightly different places then the tut on youtube was (it was a sammy btw)
