Hi guys,

I just bought the CODER 3.8 (new version of Swap Magic) and try use the slide card. First I load the disc normally then I try to use slide card to pull it out to put the backup in. I can't take out, then I press Eject button, disc tray won't come out and hear the buzz. Now I'm stuck, anyone can help me info or guides for me how to fix this. Thanks so much !

yea i did that too...but it did more than trap the slide disc it broke my ps2 altoghether lol i have a slimline one now

my ps2 was an old model anyway and many of the old models get dre and mine was startin to get it so i didint mind that it broke

This may not have to do with that program but I have had to take my PS2 (Fat) apart several time and I believe what you are talking about is a plastic piece about and inch in size, this so happens to be a cog wheel and if that is snapped or broken in some way then the tray will not eject.

The only way I found to fix this and it took me awhile to figure it out but, I took the top half of the PS2 off Permanently of course I clean it every so often cause of dust issues.
Anyhow the second "Layer" of the PS2 you will see the CD/DVD drive with tiny screws take them out don't worry about them, just keep them in a safe place in case you find some other use for them or some other way to repair your situation (you do not need the screws in for the game to run just a little bit of wieght like PS2 game cases).
Now you notice that there are two flat pocket holes (you can use just about anything that is flat and can fit to pop the top off i.e. Finger nail clippers, flat head screwdriver, keys)
And at any time you want to change the disc pop it off and put the disc in, replace the top and press the eject button to make the PS2 Disc read (it will NOT read if you just put it in and let it sit, you could hit the reset button and it will boot up but I am talking about if you have to switch for cheat devices or COGSWAP or any other program).
