I ran the avi file through tmegenc but i cant get it to go into spruce up. What do i do? It gives me the error unsupported media invalid sampling rate. Sorry for the stupid question im just very new thakyou for the help!!!

Did you remember to use he TMPGEnc templates? Otherwise the video isn't in correct structure.

That "weird language" is probably Japanese -- which btw. is spoken by more than hundred million people in the world -- in case that you've downloaded the wrong version of it. Download the correct English version from here:

and read from our article section the TMPGEnc guides -- templates are predefined encoding settings.
