hi,

Someone offered me a liteon lvw-5045 dvd/hdd recorder
but i have seen that this model is not able to play DivX
there is a model that can play DivX liteon 5045 gdl+
but I cannot see any difference btw the two models , the chipset used in the 'simple' 5045 is able to play mpeg4/divx content (did not see the chipset used in the 5045 gdl+), even the firmwares are identical (compared the two files, they are exactly the same)

Is there a way to play DivX files (even with a hack) with that model ?
thanks
