dvd2one failed to compress a 7.9 gig movie

Faced with the problem of dvdshrink being unable to compress the movie to a burnable size I decided to try dvd2one.

After decrypting and then running dvd2one and waiting twenty some odd minutes for it to compress the files, I noticed that the end result was a 5.96 gig movie.

WTF!? And yes, the app was configured to compress to a burnable size.

I think the problem is the outrageously huge audio file, 2.3 gigs.

Is there a way to keep the audio but at a smaller size?

lol - Audio at 2.3gigs, what type of DVD was it? No DVD i have ever come across has had more than 750MB of sound and that was a 6.1 THX sound.

Yeah That had me wondering as well. Perhaps it was some new fangled scheme using a bloated audio file to prevent copying. *shrug*

What movie did you try to compress?

I have been using DVD2One and had no problems with any movies at all?
