Flip top or ghost switch?

I have a slim ps2 and im thinking about getting swap magic to play backups...
I heard that my only choices were to install a flip top or ghost switch... I have no idea how to install either of these, or which one is better.

So please explain to me what they are and i'd like to know how to install the eisier one?

the install instructions can be found at clearxbox.com so u could figure out which one sounds easier for you. plus they are a trusted site for when u get ready to order. and no i'm not trying to advert for them, but i've used them in the past....
