can anybody please tell me how to upgrade my friends psp to sonys firmware 3.0 or higher. he doesnt want homebrew becuase he doesnt know how to use it, he has dark alex 2.71 se or whatever that was it was either the first or second one he realesed i think it was the first one though, when he tries to update to sonys firmware he gets the error game cant be started please help and by the way do ya know anyone who sells psp parts i need an especific one

I'll give you 3.02 because he don't want homebrew anyway, but. Download the eboot from here and place it on your psp in X\PSP\Game\ make a folder named UPDATE and place the eboot in there. Put the PSP on the charger, and go into the Game section on the memory stick, and BAM 3.02. :]
