PS2 Slimline keeps cutting off!!!

My Ps2 slimline keeps cutting off for some reason and I dont know why. Iv had it for about 2 years now. and it never done this before. This all started happening about 4 months ago. Do any of you guys have the same problem and if so how did you fix it??

Ok, so sony made a big big BIG F**k up of the slimline power supply. There were 2 major bugs with it:

1: The 1st series of power supplys were a major fire hazard
2: Regular cutting off, of the slim ps2.

What you need to do is check your power supply and let me know what model it is.
I say look on ebay for the latest version of power supply, thats the same as what i did. Now my slim ps2 is running perfectly
