This is the very first time I'm using swap magic. And I'm haveing trouble with it. It would be a very nice christmas gift if you guys could help me out.

Problem 1:
My brother and I are sharing this system.
We both use the same swap magic disks, games, and even the same kind of PS2 (we both have one thoug).
My PS2 hase this code: SCPH 39004.
My brothers PS2 has this code: SCPH 30004
They're both those old big'ns.

Now, my PS2 plays MOST the games perfectly. My brothers PS2 has some loading problems though. Some games have really long loding times and some don't play at all!

And the strange thing is. When I play (for example) a DBZ game the loading times are really slow. But when I play for a second time they're normal again. (and vise versa)

Could you solve this problem?

Problem 2:
Ok.. Back to my own PS2. (SCPH 39004)
I downloaded this game 'Superman Returns' for the PS2. I loaded it up with my swap magics DVD. Well it took 5 minutes to start the game up to the title screen. And it took 10 minutes to go away from it.
So the game works. But it won't go the normal speed it should go.
(Note: The game is pretty big 4GB+)

Could someone solve this too?

I'm a noob when it comes to this. So I don't understand everything as fast. So I hope you can help.
Also I hope my english is good enough. I'm only 15 and english isn't my main language.

Thanks in advance. And merry christmas to all!

Well I can answer some of your problems, BUT don't take all my answer too seriously.
as for your problem 1, I think (remember I think :D) your brother's ps2 laser has weakened.
now as problem 2, what brand of blank dvd you used?? sometimes brand do counts. I heard (read) afterdawn forums and came out that tdk and memorex is the best choice for backuping copied games.
So that's all my answers, and wait what the others might suggest

What Speed are you burning the discs at? If the Laser is weak it may not like the speed the game was burnt at or the media as mentioned.. Also are you using -r or +r media? if you're using +r media your PS2 may not like the +r format .. If you have to use +r discs Booktype them to DVD-ROM when burning..
Burn no faster than half the max speed of the disc and never burn at 2.4
Some burners don't like 2.4 speed burning , there is even a warning on some medias labels not to burn at 2.4
