I can't get the popstation converter to work.
I wanted to convert METALSLUGX
but Can't, How do I run it Please give me an example.

I've Tryed to Drag and drop like with the CPS2 emu converter but no Luck I read The read me it says to use RUN to run the converter, I did That but I'm Not understanding how to put the iso (file name) in the RUN command line so it will work .
"C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\popstation\popstation.exe"
where do I insert the iso name on the command line?
Please anyone.

The latest custom firmware from Dark_Alex called 3.02 OE-B allows you to pay your own converted PSONe games. You use a program called popstation.exe to convert them.
Anyways, just see my guide:

Anyway, yeah I'm looking for a way to fix it as well, I'll keep your posted.

actually no it did not work............. Still the same HSG2 icon and loading screen. Eternalis have u gotten a custom icon and background working on a custom psx game you converted yourself?

Ok, now I know whats wrong now.
The size of your PNG files is probably too high (thats what happens to me).
Try make them smaller or just change the icon instead of the background as well then it will work.

what do you mean the size is too large? gimme and estimate I'm sure I can reduce them.
ps I had already tried just the icon did not work but when u gimme the estimate i'll try it agian.

A little update, I reduced my icon and background 4 folds.
I compared the sizes to the save icon/backgrounds in my SAVEDATA folder and for some they are lower in KB size then those from official psp games. I made another eboot of the game with the reduced icon and background and nothing... this is litterly driving me insane. This will be my last request I promise...
Could you maybe go into detail from the very start where you have an .img of the psx game too you actually playing it with the working icon/background. You dont have to but it will be a great help perhaps. thanks for all the previous info and help you've given me and others.

I'm pushing this one back up as my question never got answered :P I think its due to using and img and not an iso. I reduced my icon size aswell.

Ok, to your bat file, add (on a new line) "pause" (minus the quotes).
Now run popstation.bat and see what the error message is.

Rename the ICON0.PNG to just ICON0 and the PIC0.PNG to PIC0 and the PIC1.PNG to PIC1. Then run popstation.bat again.

OK YEAH IT WORKS NOW HAHA! I figured out my mistake... When you said reduce the size of my icon and pic I did but I 4got to remove the .PNG haha. WOW really dumb but UBER thanks for all the help. Hope you have a AWSOME New Years cuz I know I will!
PS D_A hope Santa left you a good present for all your hard work :P
