how do you back up ps2 games with Nero start smart (mine get so scartched) as almost all the threads are for Nero burning rom. please forgive me if this is a stupid question.

Well firstly, Nero burning rom should b available in Nero startsmart.
secondly i suggest using Alcohol 120%, or DVD Decrypter.
There are some posts on here on how to burn a good ps2 disk, with those progs.
Use some good disks aswell such as Vaerbatim, Taiyo Yuden, Phillips, Imation Etc.

Most sony disks are good yep.
I 4got 2 mention them oh and also princo dvds are good
