Hi there, hope someone can help.
A friend of mine just got a 1.5 psp and with only the demo disk in accidently upgraded to 2.00. Is it possible to get it back to a 1.5.
Hope someone can help.

There is a 2.0 safe downgrader out there or you could just upgrade to the 2.71 SE line of custom firmwares (C is the best) and have everything and more than 1.5. The 3.02 OE series has some ISO loading issues that will be worked out as upgrades are released but the 2.71's boot everything right from the mem stick without the need of a UMD.

yes, the 2.0 is made by team MPH, and is said to be the SAFEST downgrader. upgrading to 2.71 will add more risk but not much. the 2.0 downgrader also ensures clean firmware than downgrader from 2.5+ beacuse a DUMP is reqiured.
The MPH downgrader can be obtained at www.psp-hacks.com

No u cannot upgrade to SE straght from 2.0. u need 1.5 first. i thought you would no this if you have 3.02 OE-x
you can load isos from the GAME XMB without UMD its just some games (more that SE) dnt work.

with OE you have FULL psx game loading.
