tomorrow i have my cousin coming round with his new psp and he wants me to put 3.02 OE-A on it has i have done it for mine.the thing is if for any reason it fails and i have put the recovery folder on before can i still recover back to 1.5 or is this only if the full flash has taken place.cos i don't want to ruin his christmas present.by the way it was a second hand 1.5 but it's still new to him.thanks and have a good holiday people.....sudeki300

recovery is installed first so if something does go wrong, you can still recover

whoa.. i thought as long as u have 3.02OE u could recover if semi-bricked, and u do NOT need to have the recovery folder before the bricking because u could hold R while booting and go into the recovery menu and enable usb mode there and then make a recovery folder and put the 1.5 eboot in it.

also no extra recovery program is required other than the 3.02oe firmware itself.

or am i just crazy

do u always keep the 1.5 eboots in the recovery folder too?

if not it will be pointless since there will be nothing in the recovery folder that can save u

yes i always keep the 1.5 eboot thats renamed to update.pbp in the recovery folder or it would be useless.......sudeki300
