I had a old PS2 v10 i think.... i just got the new one 770001 and everytime i put in the DVD swapdisc it says " the disc could not be read" it was just working on the older one... the CD and breaker pro work on the new PS2.... what the hell is going on.... :(

If I got it right you can load the original disk of Swapdisc to your new - non-modded PS2 but you cannot switch to the backup disk because it could not be read, right?
Maybe the backup disk is scratched/dirty or something.
Try burning the game to a brand new disk (prefer TDK, Verbatim or Sony as they are disk more compatible to read by PS2) at 4x and try again..

no the swapdisk plus 3.8 would not be read. but i found out why. it wasn't snaping in completely into the slim drive.
