What FW version started using TA-082s?

As in the subject line, I'd like to know what PSPs use the TA-082 motherboard based on the box. I'd like to find one that is 1.5 or 2.71 without the TA-082. I have a found a guide that allows you to determine the firmware version, but not the mobo. I thought I remembered seeing somewhere that TA-082 was only used after 2.5 or something. Can anyone clarify this?
