i followed scuba petes guide and when i hit backup and it starts encoding at 2% i get an error saying failed to read file E:

any clues?

try this rip the disc with dvd fab decrypter to your hd, then open files with shrink and burn with DVD Decrypter make sure dvd fab is up to date you can get it here its free http://dvdidle.com/free.htm

thats pretty much how i do it execpt i use Nero to burn.
i like dvdfab it has not let me down yet.
