well after purchasing a slim ps2 and relizing that it is "impossible" to play back ups with out a "chubby" ps2....i came accross the following options....

which do you think is better? will these work? it says they do?....also will the first choice void my warrenty? also with the first one is there anyway to leave the current cover on? and have it work?

the magic switch v3 works, but I heard that if you don't install it properly it can ruin your ps2
I am not sure about this info
I would say that it is safe because it can't be more dangerous than the tape method which I use.

USBExtreme has very low compatibility.

yea i think i am gonig to go with a mod chip the more i think about it the mor i like the fact ill be able to just stick the disc in and have it boot

thanks kunit1. i already bought it, so i think i'll just have to take the chance. are there any videos made with a good camera that is zoomed in close?
and will tool E work on the new 7700X silver ps2? i don't want to open up the ps2.
