Hey guys,
is it better to use Dev-hook 5.01 or update to 3.02 OE-B update?
What are the pros and cons of either one?
oh, i have got a 1.5 console (succesful downgrade!)

I am also confused, i have 2.71 and using Dev-hook 5.01, if i downgrade using the new downgrader method since i also have a ta-082 mobo. What will i acomplish by doing such downgrade and upgrade to 3.02 OE-B. So far as i understand i will be able to run PS1 games also? I just want to know if is worth the downgrade and the possibility of BRINKING my psp. Thank you

If you have time can you please tell me what are my benifits from downgrading to 1.5 and then emulating 3.02 OE-B.
I am still confused as to 3.02 OE-B, will i emulate that version using Devhooks or will i actually upgarde to such version! The reason for me asking my benefits is i want to know if i actually need the downgrade or not right now.....i would say i am still scared of BRINKING my psp. Thank you again

ok well with 3.02 OE-B you do not need to run HEND then launch DevHook everytime and the firmware 3.02 OE-B also lets you play homebrew and ps1 games =D

two great things to make me downgrade and upgrade, thank you so much for the words. I will try it tonight. I actually like the part of not having to run hend. I have a 7 year old which i let him play with my psp, he still doesnt understand why you have to run hend from the pictures sections. He even upgraded my psp to 2.82 by inserting a scooby Dooe umb which reguired the upgrade. I went crazy that day.......thanks god i have a friend at compusa and gave me my money back because they had run out of "K" models now they only have "L" so what i did was go to Kmart and luckly they still had some "K" models and i bought that yesterday and got everything back up and running last night. So this morning i see the news about the downgrader for 2.71 and i started to hope with joy. Thank you

one more quesion, is there a way to eliminate the need of a umb disk to be inserted inside the psp while running iso's from the memstick? Thank you

I did the downgrade to 1.5 and then upgraded all the way up to 3.0eb (or whatever it is).
Works a treat and was really simple, although if the tutorial asks you to put the file into a folder, and the folder does not exist on your psp memory card, then you need to create a new folder (in upper case).
Piece of cake, although I am having a hard time getting the emulators to work on the new firmware that use to work on the 1.5.
Having a hard time trying to find some more information on this subject.
