I have the update for OE-B but when I select it it brings me back to the XMB and I check the firmware, Its still OE-A, is it suppose to be like that?

Tried, Doesn't work, still at OE-A

you have the update in the right folder?
if you can't figure it out the best thing to do is start with a fresh install and start from 1.5

Well, they just tell me to drag the whole folder in the game section of my psp folder. So I did, I selected it and it go does that psp screen thingy, comes back and say game cannot be load, and I check my firmware and its still OE-A

you have to call a folder "GAME150" and put the update in that

So you make a folder inside GAME called GAME150 and you put the Eboot file in there.

2. Extract oeb.rar using WinRAR and copy the OEB_UPDATE folder to X:\PSP\GAME150\ (this is if you have 3.02 OE-A with default settings). Note: X is the drive letter of your PSP.
3. Now on your PSP, plug in the AC adapter and go to GAME-->Memory Stick and then select the 3.02 OE-B Update.
4. When it is finished updating, the updater will auto-exit back to the XMB (the PSP's main menu) and you will be on 3.02 OE-B!
I hate extracted it, my game folder cannot be accessed if I change the name to GAME150, so I am forced to put the OE-B update folder in GAME, my a/c is plugged in, I select 3.02 OE-B update and it goes black then puts me back on XMB saying that it cannot play the game, then I check firmware version and it is still 3.02 OE-A.

you put the GAME150 folder in X:\PSP\(insert GAME150 folder here). You don't rename the current GAME folder to GAME150 you just make a new folder.

for any other people who cant get B installed you must hold the R trigger and reboot
this will take u to a menu and go to config and it will say something like EO-A er something and press X and it will turn into 1.50
try the update again and kazaaammmm

Hah. I ran into the same problem. But luckily i'm now at 3.02 OE-B w/FFVII running at full speed :D
