i connect my 360 to my tv via the standard component cables you get with the 360, has anybody got any experience with the vga cable they do?

just wondering if it improves the picture in anyway?

its a sony kdl40v if that makes any difference

If your talking about the HDTV component cables that have the Red, Blue, Green for the video and the Red, White for the audio, then I would stick with those. VGA connections will look better on actual PC monitors. Course it just really depends on your television. I have the VGA adapter when I use my 360 on my LCD monitor and it looks alot sharper, but its also alot smaller of a screen. You could check your TV stats and see what resolutions it will do with VGA and what it supports using the HDTV component cables. Unfortunately there is no easy yes or no answer to this, just depends mainly on your tv. Hope that helps. :)
