SWEET! I just called EB they have 64 60GB and 29 20GB that they got about 2 days ago! It is good that stock is rising!
I will have a 60GB in my hands tonight along with the 1 year warranty! I asked the EB guy about the one year and it starts a they day after your manufacture warranty expires, so it is like a 1 year "Extension" so you get a total of 2 years because the Manufacture Warranty is 1 year, I confirmed that at Sonys site just a minute ago!
Thanks for the replys

i got my ps3 at walmart and the 2 year warranty was only $29.00. i had to get the 20gb because that is all they had.. but the warranty was so cheap that i had to get it. I normally turn them down because they are so much.

I didn't buy any extended warranty. Best Buy wanted me to pay 60 bucks or something for a 2 year warranty. I'll just stick with Sony's one year warranty. If something wrong is going to happen, it'll happen then, right?

Hopefully, the thing about Best Buys Warranty you take it into the store and they Swap it out, with Sony they have you send it into them and they try to repair it!

Dang $29 at Walmart for a 2 year warranty sounds like a great deal. Is it no questions asked just exchange it for a brand new unit if something goes bad with yours?

What about basic returns.. I bought mine at wal mart with the extended warranty, but I had to get the 20 gig because that was all they had. Now, everyone is getting them in stock ( a lot faster than most people thought) and I would like to trade it in for the 60 gig. any ideas?
