OK,
I called Microsoft on the 14th of December because the light on my power supply was red! They nice lady who was in America (wow, I actually got a call center in America, not India) said we will replace it and you should receive your New power supply in 2-3 business days!
So day 4 rolls around and no power supply so I decide to call Microsoft, and see what is the deal! I was told that my order was being processed and I should receive it within 2 days. So day 6 rolls around and STILL no power supply! So I call Microsoft to see what the deal is AGAIN! I am talking to the guy and he said that the Power Supply still hasn't been shipped and he said he sent the service center an e-mail sating they need to ship this 2 me ASAP! I then told me I should receive the power supply by Dec. 22 witch was a Friday!
That Friday I got home from School 2 hours earlier because of Christmas Break and Had a Gears of War party planed and was thinking wow, this day is gonna be great until I got into my driveway and noticed that there wasn't a UPS box on my front door! I then called Microsoft to what was going on! I was told I hadn't shipped yet. I was pissed. I was then assured that it would ship on Saturday and would be at my house by Tuesday. I then called all my friends and gave them the bad news and said I have moved the party to Wednesday.
Sunday rolls around I decide to call Microsoft to see if the god damn thing had shipped. I was hoping for an early Christmas present. I guess I forgot who I was dealing with! I get on the phone with the guy and was told the same thing I have been told the other 4 times. So I said ok the damn thing better be on my door step by Wednesday the 27 the guy said "Ok, it is very likely you will receive it Wednesday.
I then call everyday up to today even Christmas eve and am told the same thing over and over!
So today I looked over my paper work for my extended Warranty.
Number 4 of the terms and conditions sates "Immediate Access to Genuine XBOX 60 replacement parts"
So after reading that I call today give the bastard my reference number and tell him my horror story. He says ok let me consult my supervisor! While I am on hold I look closer at my paper work and see at the bottom in Bold
"You'll have our commitment to ensure your total satisfaction or your money back. The XBOX 360 Service Contract Money-Back Guarantee"
So the guy comes back and says he has spoke to his supervisor about this and he said the his SUPORVISOR said that this takes 2 to 3 weeks for this type of order to process! I at that point who have been so polite start yelling "Ok the terms and conditions state "Immediate Access to Genuine XBOX 60 replacement parts, do you consider 2 to 3 weeks Immediate" The guy replies "Sir I was told..." "No I was told Immediate Access to Genuine XBOX 60 replacement parts, when I bought this contract" "Sir..." "Ok lets see, I was also told "You'll have our commitment to ensure your total satisfaction or your money back. The XBOX 360 Service Contract Money-Back Guarantee." You guys sure don't seem committed to me!" "Sir you need to calm down" "Ok so when will I receive this at the latest?" "Uh... By Jan 5" "Ok, if I don't receive the fu**ing power supply by Jan 5 I will call back and will be spiting nails and will be demanding my money back and still have this service contact in my possession!, if that doesn?t happen I have no problem switching over to Apple and Sony for my Gaming and computer needs" "Ok sir you have a good day" CLICK
I am so pissed right now and need to vent off some where! Thanks for reading!

lol. and believe me when i say this, i know that feeling............ sounds like you did the right thing thhough. some other people may not be as patient as you were. they wouldve complained after day 3. :)

I am so pissed! I actualy hope that it dosen't come by Jan 5 cause then I will be able to demand my money back! Hey 59 bucks is 59 bucks!

Ok well it has been almost 3 weeks! So it was last sunday and I called, I was told "You need to ship us your old power supply then we can ship you a new one!" I said "What the fu**... (long pause) then why the fu** was I never given a fu**ing shipping adress so I can send you the damn thing?" "Uh sir call down, uh (another long pause) let me transfer you to a suppervisor" after waghiting on hold for 45 minutes the guy gets back on the phone "sir, are you still there?" "yes" "sorry, there are no suporvisores avalible, I am sorry but we havn't shipped you a box for us to ship you a new power supply yet because our we were updateing our system to back it better" "ok so what are you going to do" "we will ship you a box to send your borken power supply back to us" "ok, how long will that take?" "2-3 days" ok, so I hang up!
Humm, didn't I hear that 3 weeks ago? Oh yea I did!
So I call back on tuesday sit on hold for 2 hours and talk to another guy! "I am just calling to see where my box is for my bad power supply, I called on monday and was told I would recive a box in 2-3 days, but for some reason I knew that wouldn't happen because I called on the 14th of december and was told I would recive my New power supply in the same amount of time, but it has been almost 3 weekss" "ok do you have a ref number?" "yea here it is..." "ok let me check" "your order for you box is still in processing" "you should recive it in 3-4 days"
OK!
I guess I better call again today to be told the samething! I wonder why I bought a PS3 a few days ago?

Well, I just got of the phone with M$ for close to the 10th time and was told it hasn't Shipped, gee that sounds farmiliar! I was told another 7-10 days! No I rely know why I bought a PS3!

Wow, that sux. I will be pissed too. But for whatever reason, one of my friend got a 360 on black friday, after a week, the DVD drive is not working for him anymore, then he called MS, they sent a box to him within few days, then he got a new 360 like a week after. That is not too bad service IMO, but in your case, it is totally unacceptable.

my microsoft experiance was easy lol. called said my xbox 360 was broken (before getting it modded) and they told me to send it in called the company to pick it up. got my xbox back the same week. lol

I called back today and was told I need to pay for the shipping cost and use my own box! So I said ok, and the lady didn't even have a adress for me! I am gonna call back cause she didn't know anything!

Just go to Walmart and buy a 360. Take the good power supply then take the old one back and say it doesn't work. It's simple. No waiting around.

Bad Customer service sucks, i feel for ya. But after 1 week, if it was really that important to me, i would just bite the bullet and go buy a new power supply. Then when you get you new one, return it to where you got it. Its new right, so no harm no foul.
Goodluck, i hate dealing with broken products.

Thats not the point, I don't have the $400 cash because I am only 14 and just boght a PS3!
SO I called back today, guess what, it is out of Waranty, I told her, I called a mouth ago and she so I should have delt with it sooner then! WTF! I tried! I am calling back and am going to speak with a Suporvisor!

They just extended the warrenty to one year. And they said they'd still take care of 360's made on 11-22-2005 so there's no question that Microsoft has to deal with this issue. And a 14 year old that bought a ps3... When I was 14, I had to work my ass off to earn the $89.99 they wanted for the SNES version of MKII. Lucky kids.

Yea, that lady is new! I talk to the suporvisor and I ned to ship the onld one first then I will get my new one! Thats not what the first 3 agaents told me! Damn! I had to work, my ass off for the $450 to buy a PS3! (I got $200 for XMAS) I am a soccer ref so yea!

Don't feel too bad, i've been waiting 5-6 months for a refund that is seemingly never going to show up, i'm supposed to get a refund for all the arcade titles i purchased, since they don't work when i want to play them and not be connected to XBL (since they replaced the console in July/Aug) and that's like 7 or 8 titles! i want my points back and i keep getting told someone above the supervisor will call me and give me my money back.

So finly i put my power supply in a box and shipped it to Microsoft with a pice of paper with my ref number and Name and adress on it! I sent that 3 weeks ago! I called today to see if they got it since I sent it prority mail, they had got it they are still trouble shooting my issue and I was told it will be another 2 weeks! I don't care anymore and don't want to deal with it anymore because I just went out and bought the Intec replacement power supply for 50 bucks!
So 9 weeks later and I am $58 bucks short and still no replacement!

So after not geting a new powersupply I decided just to go out and buy one... then 12 days ago the 360 decided to give me the 3 red lights of death! So I called M$ up asap and they said they vwould ship me a box to ship my XBOX in to them and it would take 2 days and that was a tuesday, and friday night no box... gee I wonder why! So I called back and gave my ref number, and was told that it will ship monday at the latest and would arrive wensday.... so Wensday no box so I called they still hadn't shiped the fu*king box! I was told it would ship thursday and be at my house on friday! So I called back thursday and they still hadn't shiped it and I called back friday and today and same story! So I am back to where I was 2 mounth ago and only this time with a larger problem! I am going to call moday evening and if it hasn't shipped you I am going to give M$ hell!

I called back this morning to see if it shiped and I was told that my XBOX 360 Warrenty had just expired 2 days ok... Yes she was right, I had bought my 360 on Febuary 2 2006 but I had also bought a Extended Warrenty... she said that she has no record of the Warrenty, and says there is nothing she can do, I then said Warrenty or not I called 12 days ago adn reported my problem while I was still under the standard 1 year Warrenty, and she says but you are now out of warrenty and their is nothing we can do, you can ship us your console adn pay a $130 repai fee or you can call back tomarow and consult a Supervisor... so I just hung up... Now I need to call AGAIN and talk to a supervisor!
What a week!
