Does Swap Magic work with the Slim Sation Silver SCPH-77001 PS2? If it does which version is better for it, 3.6 or 3.8?(Swap Magic Coder) Does the PS2 need to be modded before using the boot disc and do the tools work on this new PS2? The tools that come with Swap Magic.

it should...i think...but hey what do i know....well i just ordered swap magic coder from a website...also got magic keys 2....which you will want!....total came out to $36.30 SHIPPED!...for both...i believe this is a good deal? well i went with them cause they accepted paypal...ill let you know how it goes...im not sure how long it will take to get here cause they are based in Hawii...

Do you have a Satin Silver Slim PS2 SCPH-77001? Does it have problems with any games like the SCPH-75001 model? Do you need to modify your ps2 for Swap Magic?

i do not have the silver one but i bought mine tuesday and it is the 77001 version just like yours!....and the only other thing you have to get is magic keys 2<--this will not void your warrenty...it covers the sensors that tells the ps2 that the lid is opened... and i havent gotten mine yet but ill let you know how long it took to recieve it from them and how it works....

well they sell it as a "packaged deal" for $36 you get both shipped to you.....and yes you can close the lid afterwards.

I heard that the SCPH-7700X models have the same game compatibility problems as the SCPH-5000X models. Does this this count just for the silver ones or also the black ones?

The article was saying SCPH-7500X so I think it goes with the black and silver and also the SCPH-7700X black and silver. I don't know for sure about the black ones.

well i went with the coder...seeing how it is "newer" and allows cheat codes and stuff....but i heard someone say there has been bugs with coder? but i dont know if that "problem" is with the cheats or swaping? (anyone want to elaborate on this...please do so!)

How is Magic Keys 2 different than Magic Switch V3? They look the same! How does opening your PS2 void the warranty? On Magic Keys' website it says Magic Keys 2 is for PS2 V12-14 and the SCPH-77001 is a V15. So does it work? Someone please help! Also where is the best place to order Swap Magic in Canada? Does http://revolution-sales.com work good in Canada?
