Copying DVD's with my MAC

I've downloaded 'Mac the Ripper' and extracted the file to my HD, however when I try to burn the files, it says to insert a 7.4 GB disk. I can only find 4.7 GB disks. Is there a way to compress like with DVD Shrink for PCs or can I buy bigger disks. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
