I just loaded Hot Shots Golf 2 on my PSP and I get a "to use this content, you must activate the system" when I try to start the game. I've looked around and can't find any hints. Can anyone help?

What firmware are you running and what are you using to emulate it if you are?

using 3.01 and just loaded it directly to the PSP/Games folder under it's own unique folder. No emulator; standard PSP. Game shows up fine, picture looks great but when I try to start it it gives that error.

Yea right!!! Dark_AleX won't talk to ANYONE. I've sent him PMs before. He's way too busy or he's in God mode. (His status has gone to his head.)
Btw, is this 3.01 ACTUAL or 3.01 DevHook?

Oh its orininal firmware, well maybe there is an error or some my best advice go back to the store you bought it from and return it and say it doesnt play this game and show them.

no it wont work, you cant run homebrew on any firmware above 2.71, so there is no way of downgrading your psp too, sorry

OK, so now you confused me. Even if I upgrade to 3.02 OE-A or B this won't work? Any Homebrew downloads or just PSX.

devhook cannot play psx games because the emulator has not been cracked yet on emulation. however if u want to play psx games upgrade to OE-a/b were the emulator has been cracked and can play downlaowd psx games.

I tried to install 3.02 oe-a and it fails using 3.03. What exactly must I be running to install 3.02 oe-a. If it is less than 3.03 then how can I downgrade.

You have to activate you PSP using the Playstation 3. You can't play the psx games on your psp without the playstation 3. This is really designed to stop PSP owners from stealing the playstation games but what it really does it hinder people from ripping their CDs.

I downloaded a game to my memory card but when I run it gives me a message "To use this content, you must activate the system". I have a version 3.03 is there a way do downgrade the version so that I can use the downloaded game. Thanks

i have 3.01 fw do i have the program files needed to play emulators or do i need to get them or do i need to upgrade to 3.02 oe-a then oe-b if so where do i find them cuz i def do'nt want to go to 3.03 at all right if i don't have to... i new to all this just started to look into all this downgrading emulaters and homebrew stuff still not sure how to do some of it right now but really want to learn how to... i think i am going to buy a used psp to fool round with you know to learn on so i don't brick the one i have now i know how to check what firmware the psp has and the motherboard to... I would'nt mind getting ahold of a bricked psp though since i am an electronic buff and like to toy round with things like that anyone that can i really appreciate it if anyone wants to pm me directly or e-mail with info you can send to wolfcav92@yahoo or just pm me at that name add me to your mess with mess. and i will exept thnx

sorry, what i meant to say is downgrader not upgrader. if its higher the 2.81, theres no downgraders or homebrew.
