I am making a dvd of home videos that were in AVI format. In the AVI format, the sound is great.

I brought the avi's in encore and burned them to a dvd through encore.

When I play back on the computer dvd player or a regular dvd player very loud sounds become static-like. Not sure what the official term is, clipping, popping, static? I think you get the point.

Is there a way to fix or prevent this? I have the transcode settings on automatic.

Any help would be a appreciated.
