putting iso files onto a psp with devhook i have a problem

hi guys
i wonder if you could help a friend of mine has a psp version 1.52 with pre installed devhook 0.46 he has asked me to put some games on his memory stick he has 8 discs of games in iso version also he has some info that tells him to put the iso files in the iso file on the memory stick that i have done but when i press the games section and then memory stick icon i get 2 bits come up one which says return to 1.50 from fw2xx when press that it says "to start you must update software" and the other icon is the devhook when you press this it opens but says it cannot play the file what am i doing wrong have i put the files in the wrong place or is there something else i need to do YOUR HELP WILL BE GRATEFULLY RECEIVED
