PSP frozen, need the recovery file that everyone is talking about the one where you hold R trigger whilst rebooting the psp, where can this so called recovery file be found and how do i install it onto my psp that doesnt even work please somebody help, come help atleast i'm not using Caps LOL

sounds like a brick to me dude. sorry to hear it. try turning the WLAN switch on and taking the battery out and putting it back in and also making sure theres no UMD in it and no memory stick. this can help sometimes.

You need to have installed the recovery console before bricking the psp.

oh right thanks for all ur helpp i'll try ur tests out also thanks for letting me know about the recovery thingy i went crazy trying to find the recovery thing

i thought the recovery function is built in to the 3.02OE? so if u already have that FW u dont need to install anything else just hold R while hard booting?

i click on recovery button PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP i have the recovery folder installed but every time i click it it freezes i tried everything someone help!

go into usb mode and make sure the folder and the correct files are in there
