Now every song that i download is messed up :( The song will download and it will usally play for 20 seconds then it will start to make the most un godly noise ever. And these are songs that have 50+ users. Someone please tell me what is going on please! Thanks

Could be a lot of things man, i would highly doubt its kazaa lites fault!! kazaa lite is not too different from normal kazaa, in fact its the same program basically!

It's probably the RIAA-song thing.

So the RIAA has put fake songs out on kazaa? If that is so ill go for the ones with the least users or just start using DC++ to get music but i dont like to do that :( And im not talking about just a few songs messing up all of them are mesed up even the ones that are from like 1970 with the copy rights expired if they can expire :/

Well you can preview the download in WinMedia Player.
Go into your shared folder, copy the 1230921030821.dat file into a temp directory (So you don't corrupt the download). Then open the file with Media player. If its a fake, you know what to do!

It's the RIAA. I was gonna go on a swearing-diss-the-RIAA-frenzy, but I've got to go and unpack!

RIAA drops "modified" newly released cd's into the network. So when people want to download them the network will be all funked up.
Do ur self a favor and switch to edonkey network. It has rare files that u will never find on the Kazaa network. And allmost all the time u will find the hole cd in a rar or zip file.

i think there needs to be a complete rethink of p2p, maybe a whole new method of sharing files that will rule out this kinda thing!

Hey everyone I just wanted to let you know that this crap that's happenin with the music is not KaZaA'z fault or the people who put the songs on here, it's the artist. They have started scramblin their CD's so we can't download them & burn them. The group LSG did a couple years back but people have figured out how to get around it. Hopefully someone will now. So I just thought I'd let ya know.

nah thats not it all cause u see, these files are mp3, so they have already been ripped off a cd and i think if they were screwed up, whoever ripped it would have known about it and never shared it. Now if you are saying its the artists themselves uploading the songs, its a possibility i guess but by now they would have all been caught by the peer guardian ip list, and they havent been!
