1) can I play online with this new FW? (mainly socom online and MGS)

2) If I ever decide I dont want it, can I go back to SONY'S OFFICIAL 1.5 FW? (i am at 1.5 right now)

3) How is the PS1 emulator? I have a copy of Armored Core for the PS1 and if I rip the CD to make it right format for the PSP, how will the controls work on the emulator? (i need all 4 shoulder buttons for this game)

4) Can 3.02 still play SNES, GBA emulators, Jpeg viewer, homebrew etc.?

5) If I decide to get this new FW can someone please supply me with a downgrader link back to 1.5 just incase I want to go back.

i hope your talking about 3.02 OE-B. If you are here are your answers:

1) Yes you can
2) Yes you can
3) The PSX is really good. You need to make an ISO using UltraISO, and use Popstaion GUI to convert it to EBOOT. You will need a copy of the Hot Shots Golf 2 eboot which can be found at various places. You switch between the L1,L2,R1 and R2.
4) 3.02 OE-B can play SNES, GBA, Jpeg Viewer (All homebrew)
5) With the firmware download, you will get a folder called recovery. That is what you use to downgrade back to 1.50.

With all your questions answer, can i ask you a question? Why do you use Jpeg Vewer when you don't need to? The PSP can already do that?

cool thanks for your help!

So when you mean switch between L1 R2 is it easy to do? because say if I need to switch between L1 and L2 light right after another, can i do it quick? Or how bout pressing L1 and L2 at the same time is it possible?

and which link has the recovery download?

and the reason I use Jpeg viewer is because that program allows you to listen to your MP3s WHILE viewing pics/reading comics AND it pre buff each picture so when you move it you don't need to re scan to clear the image.
