Well Hi IM new to this forum and i want to first say hi to you guyz and introduce myself

My name is Ruben i am 14 yrs old, Mexico and i think i got my psp bricked lol

so first let me tell you wat happen:

I succesfully downgrade 2.80 to 1.5
Got Dark Alex Custom Firware
Homebrew and that Stuff
X Flash 1.5
isos working and that stuff

but something gone wrong

my little stupid cousin took my psp he set Custom Firmawe (Dark Alex)
He mm Lets say reinstalled the stuff it says finished but then it turned off

so i turned on my psp screen was black blacklight on but IT DOESNT TURN OFF (sryy for caps) it just stayed on forever but nothing happened....

so i just want to see if my psp is really brick and if there is a different unbrick method without the modchip i've heard that dark alex custom firware has a "recovery mode"

Well, if your using Dark AleX's 3.02 OE-A or B then the zip or rar file you downloaded should include a folder called flasherforrecovery or something like that, open that and drag the RECOVERY to your psp/game folder, then when you turn on your psp, hold the R button and you should be in recovery mode.

actually u dont need to have the recovery folder to enter recovery mode but u do need it to flash new fw

ya i have the folder on pc but i hold r and nuthing happens i think i forgot to put the src folder well im lost but thanks guys :)

or is any way to set up usb mode even if is brick but i think is impossible

or maybe what will happen if you put your memory stick into a card reader thrn on the mory stick put the recovery stuff then i put the memory stick on psp and i run the recovery menu????

Ihad the same problem when i upgraded from 2.71 se-c. i put the recovery folder in the game folder under psp. I went into recovery mode and ran the recovery option. then the psp then gave me a warning message to have at least 75% battery and then exited into 3.02 oe-a xmb. i don't know how it worked but that is how it worked for me.

so do u need the recovery folder wen ur upgrading from 1.50 to oe-a?
the guide im looking at doesn't say anything about it lol
