Question On 2.80 downgrade without a TA-082 motherboard..

hello people,
well i am one of the people that have a 2.80 firmwire and have been looking around for a long time for a downgrade.i rented metal gear solid portable ops and saw that i needed to upgrade to a 2.81 firmwire.so i started my quest to look for a psp downgrader for the 2.80 and i assume i found one,but i keep reading its only a downgrade for the psp's that have TA-082 motherboards. or is that for the 2.71 firmwires?...i read that there was a downgrader for the 2.80 here but i assume its not a good idea.is there a legit Downgrader for the 2.80? with TA-082 motherboards or not? sorry if u answered this already.thanks again.

No such thing as legit downgrading because your voiding the warrant by downgrading, and currently no there is no downgrader for 2.80 or 2.81 sorry, if you wait and don't upgrade for a few months there should be a downgrader by a successful programmer like DA.

Actually there was a downgrader released for 2.8 and people suceeded but this was with the TA-082 MOBO...

You sure 2.8? really?
Give me link so I can see for myself, not that I don't beleive you, just want to see. So this is only for a TA-082 Mobo?

i didnt know how to find a TA-082 motherboard and then i looked it up and checked my psp. i dont have those IC1003 letters where they say that they are located leading me to believe that i dont have one of those.anyways,from the places that ive read everyone makes it seem like its a bad thing to have these kind of motherboards.
..ehh i dunno..

It was a bad thing, but it's been fixed by DarkAleX so we don't really have to worry. If you don't have those letters then you don't have a TA-082, I really don't know what to do from here on.

i found this A Modchip
if i just buy this will like putting games on my memory stick work? it seems like that they are getting closer and closer to hackin the 2.80 firmwire to be able to put games on ur memeory stick and just run them off of there.so i just should wait till they hack it right? instead of paying 100 bucks.

according to the last site you sent me, 2.80 is hackable but its not 80+ success rate, so if you want you can wait.
or you can sell your psp and buy a new one.
Don't quite know what a mod chip does, but I do know that its not possible to brick it anymore when you have a mod chip.
