I was wondering what it was. Is it something sony made or is it custom firmware? I've been trying to figure out what it was, but nothing. I have a psp with 2.81 fw without ta 82 mobo and then I have a second psp with 2.71 fw with ta 82 mobo using devhook to emulate 2.81-3.01. Should I update my 2.81 to 3.02 or not?
1st psp 1.5>2.0>2.5>2.71>2.81(sony sucks balls)
2nd psp 2.60>2.71 ta82>devhook .51 emulating 3.02

3.02 OE-A is not by sony it is made by a programmer named Dark AleX.
it allows you to play ISOs and ps1 games without the use of devhook, and i don't think your 2.81 is downgradable, but your 2.71 TA-082 mobo is.
this is because your ta-082 is downgradable, and the custom firmware is not really an update its just a hacked 1.5with 3.02 features
2.6 > 2.71 = 1.5 - 3.02> MY TA-082 MOBO 1.5> 3.02 OE-A > OE-B > 3.10 OE-A > 3.82 M33

So wait, the 2.82 is downgradeable, but not 2.81? What kinda sense does that make? Anyways, no I was wondering if I should do anything with my 2.81? My 2.71 ta82 already has devhook .51 with emulation up to 3.01.

Well, I can't say anything if your content with loading devhook all the time and so, and for your 2.81 if you feel like it according to EuroStylz upgrade to 2.82 and downgrade and upgrade to 3.02 OE-A and have fun or something, or just stay the way you are.

Im pretty sure it is and well like i said before i downgraded i did alot of searching and today i joined a couple of other forums and found some threads told you im a forum whore ;) especially in electronics that i dont have to pay for stuff =D.... I mean Evaluate them...

No chance if you use the sony update firmware but if you were to then downgrade to any other verison there is a chance of being briked

Yes there is a way to unsubscribe from a thread. Go to the My Account tab and there should be some link to unsubscribe there.

Is 3.02 OE-A better to have than Devhook?
from what im reading it sounds like 3.02 OE-A eliminates the "hassle" of devhook.
also is there risk of bricking or destroying your psp with 3.02 OE-A?
i dont need 3.02 OE-A AND 3.02 OE-B do I?
i have psp 2.60 i need to do my research before i do anything..
i want the most brick-proof method of running iso games and homebrew..
since my psp runs 2.60 firmware, i dont need to downgrade to 1.50 in order to install 3.02 OE-A or do I?
bear with my questions, i do appreciate it..

first of all you first need to get the 3.02a then upgrade to the 3.02B so u dont need both secondly if you are interested in doing this check out my guide... however it does have a chance of flashing and make sure if you use my guide you have a TA-082 MOBO
