Dear folks,

I'm trying to use the guidlines for mpeg2 to mpeg4 conversion from dvd to divx format given at http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/dvd2divx_anamorphic.cfm but when it comes to the step using the VFAPI Reader COdec it seems like I can't manage to get the VFAPI read the project file I created using DVD2AVI.

Did anybody have the same problem? If so a solution is kindly appreciated.

Have you tried to re-run the AVI.cfm" class="forum_link" target="_blank">DVD2AVI as it needs to register its own little piece to the system. Also, remember to run the .bat found within the Reader codec package. Also, if this doesn't help, try to download the 1.76 version of AVI.cfm" class="forum_link" target="_blank">DVD2AVI, unzip it into some dir and run it once.
