PS2 Blue Screen of Death?

I have a chipped V14 PS2, the name of the modchip is NH-10.

Recently when I have been playing any game for about 10 minutes the PS2 will make a sound and then the game switches to a blue screen, then it's stuck on the screen until you restart or shut the PS2.

Restarting the game works but it eventually happens again after another 10 minutes.

I'm not sure if this is happens to all my games, but most of them have this problem.

And the games are backups, but I'm not using bad media in my opinion, but if you are wondering it's Ritek that were sold as Sony DVD's.

Do any of you know why this is happening and how it can be fixed?

If this is in the wrong section could someone move it for me.

what do you mean? Never heard of one for the ps2?...
or maybe did you meant just plain blue screen?. Then it could be the problem with your component cable. Check to see if they're faulty. If so, try replacing the cable. Maybe that will help. Hope that helps.

Yeah its just a plain blue screen but I wanted to make it so people would click on it, lol. And I'm not sure if it is the component cables since it appears to work fine for several minutes, but it might be a possibility.
