DMS 4 modded PS2 V10 won't eject.

I recently modded my V10 with a dms4 chip & a 250gb western digital HD. I Loaded TOXIC OS V0.41. The install didn't give me any trouble except I get the Black screen of Death on restart if I've been playing for a while. Seemed to work fine if I let it sit for a few minutes before tring to reboot. But now it won't eject. When I boot up it goes to the screen with the Memory card and the Disk. I can load and play the disk in it but it won't eject?

This is a Christmas mod I did for my kid so any help would be great.

Ok, I held down the Square botton during boot and got to Toxic Os and some how the boot preference had been changed. Now it's booting to toxic. It still won't eject. And I still get the black screen when I reset after it's been on for a while.
